ROOFING
Sealant on roofing is essential to prevent leaks and to prolong the life of the roof material. To seal roofing, we use an elastomeric coating which can be applied on a large variety of materials. This coating moves with the material it’s applied to, so when your roof expands with heat or contracts in the winter, the coating will seamlessly adapt. Our roof sealant is safely sprayed on, is fully waterproof, and it actively works to fight corrosion. RADON GAS
For all radon gas protection (and protection from other dangerous gasses), we use NS-RadonShield. This coating is eco-conscious, elastomeric, and completely free of VOCs. It also works to prevent mold. What is Radon? It’s a gas that is radioactive and occurs naturally when uranium is broken down. It can easily spread from soil to other places, which can be extremely harmful, especially because it is free of odour and colour. Because of this, protecting a home or building with our product is ideal.
CORROSION CONTROL
What is corrosion? When acidic substances interact with metal surfaces, a reaction is created. This is when corrosion takes place. Most buildings are open to the effects of their outdoor surroundings where various substances can eventually corrode the metal. This can result in rust, among other serious concerns. To control corrosion, Fox Sealant uses MineSeal NS – C400. This product is an elastomeric product that is non-permeable, which is ideal for long term corrosion protection. MineSeal NS – C400 is also waterproof and completely free of VOCs. This product is safe for use on machinery, pipelines, and various other equipment, structures, and more.
WATER PROOFING
To prevent water and other moisture from permeating a surface or an object, waterproofing is the ideal solution. The waterproofing products we use at Fox Sealant are fully water-based and produces a waterproof barrier almost immediately. The products used are non-flammable, which ensures a safe and fast application that can be used inside or outside. All products that we use for waterproofing are food-grade and eco-conscious. This means that if required, they are able to be applied in locations where food handling or processing occurs. In addition, the waterproofing products are equipped to work in any type of weather.
AIR BARRIER
At Fox Sealant, we provide an elastomeric air barrier coating, applied as a spray. When a building has a proper barrier, it will last longer, and the overall air quality will be improved, leading to a better environment for those who use the building. The spray barrier is great for both commercial and residential application, and it is resistant to all weather types, eco-conscious, waterproof, and resistant to vapour – all while remaining 100% safe. Once applied, the air barrier adheres and cures instantly.
DUST CONTROL
For our dust control services, we use NaturaSeal’s RS-3000. This eco-conscious (a pitch-polymer emulsion), creates a barrier on the road surface that is waterproof and easy to maintain. Once applied, this barrier improves the overall longevity of the road surface and helps to prevent the formation of potholes. RS-3000 is not only sustainable and eco-conscious, but it is also free of VOCs. It is specially designed to not harm the environment where it resides. Because this product is a pitch-polymer emulsion that can be easily changed by switching up the dilution, it can be applied and dispersed easily regardless of the material.
